9th-Grade Girls Set to Receive Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification

9th-grade students in Khud’s Mughalpura school set to receive Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification. Sameena, 14, and Ayesha 13 told a Khud member how they ventured into the world of cloud computing with little help from their lab instructor and a whole lot of googling around on the internet. The inquisitive duo goes to a school in Mughalpura Lahore that has a Khud-powered computer lab where they learn basic concepts related to graphic design, programming, and video editing. Sameena and Ayesha along with their classmates were asked to figure out the real deal behind some buzzwords of the tech industry. Cloud computing caught their eye and they began unpacking it one Youtube video after the other.

They recounted learning about the various types of cloud computing and about the advantages it could provide for its users. Seeing the students doing well and on a healthy learning trajectory, Ali their lab instructor (also a khud member) decided to enroll them in an online certification program. The 9th graders are on their way to complete the certification program by going through all assigned lectures and submitting accompanying assignments and quizzes.

The students seemed really excited about the prospect of receiving a formal Azure Fundamentals certificate. When asked about the experience, the students were positively motivated by achieving this milestone and were already looking forward to moving on to the next stage of learning new skills and exploring new ideas.
