Khud launches Professional Communication Development Program
Arooba - the newly hired communication coach - poses with her class
The Professional Communication Development Program is an endeavour to enhance the communication skills of our students, with a focus on three broad areas: speaking, listening and reading & comprehension. The program imparts these skills through activity-based learning which helps in getting the students out of their shells and allows them to learn in a comfortable environment. Another salient feature is that we have replaced the conventional role of teacher/instructor with that of the coach, which entails a focus on the students’ growth as well-rounded individuals both within and beyond the classroom.
The Program is another piece in the puzzle towards developing a learning model that empowers students to learn on their own with minimal input from teachers or elders. To this effect, special attention has been given in developing reading & comprehension and listening skills for students so that they can better absorb information available on the internet in the form of video tutorials and self-help guides.

Lastly, another objective for the Program is to ensure that students are able to communicate with potential clients in all sorts of settings, be it online or in person. This has been a recurring problem for Khud students trying their hand at freelancing platforms but we are optimistic that they will easily overcome it after receiving coaching through the Program.
